I think my job requires more people skills than I give myself time to rebound back from. I’m tired and have no motivation to hang out with people! God please heal my spirit and restore me so that I can invest in other people for your kingdom!

In loneliness, what are we wanting to happen? To not be lonely; please correct me if I’m wrong. So, in that time, where do I go; once again? Do I run to my phone to talk or get together with someone, do I turn on the TV or a movie, how about doing more work or not stopping, do I go to the gym or start eating, or maybe turn on music to dull the already stillness that the Lord can speak into. Where, what? Yes, I am guilty of all these and much more I am sure and I know. But the point is that Jesus wants me, and all, to go to Him, not these other false substitutes of temporal fulfillment’s. Are they bad or wrong? I don’t believe so. But, do they take away or even the place of me seeking the Lord? That is the question my heart needs to ask and answer. How about You?
